somebody recommended something called "immune factors", but i don't know anything about it.

Many LLMD's have their patients on ImmunePlus Transfer Factor. Some sell it at their offices, others rx it through the company that makes it. That's how I get mine. Talk to your LLMD about it.
There is also a Lyme specific Transfer Factor through the same company, Researched Nutritionals. I know many here are on it also, or instead of the ImmunePlus.
I was told that often it is thought best to build up the immune system with ImmunePlus first and then add in the Lyme Specific Transfer Factor.
