Does anyone know what herbs kill what forms of lyme? I read in Buhner's book and Singleton's that andrographis and Japanese knotweed are antispirochete. Does any herb kill the L form or cyst?

Buhner does not address the cyst form. He discusses it in his book and at his site but his focus is not in that area. If I recall correctly, he says that if the spirochetes can be reduced enough the cyst form may not cause too much trouble once the infection load is down and the body is stronger.
I think he says that breaking open the cyst form can be asking for trouble. While he may have a point (and I'm on his protocol now), that does differ from other researchers.
And, one must be aware in the future how to handle it if lyme cysts do decide to come out and play havoc. My thoughts, though, and I've not thoroughly researched it.
It is best to read for yourself what Buhner has to say - in case I misquoted.
I'm going with what I can afford and the andrographis and resveratrol have helped tremendously to reduce seizures and edema for me.
I am way more exhausted, though, but plan to plug ahead since I am seeing progress.
Andrographis can be a very powerful herb and certainly has its place.
Allicin, too, as described in Zhang's protocol.
Note that both of these authors recommend antibiotics at certain times - or for certain patients. Buhner states that abx are required for one of the tick borne infections, but I can't recall which.
Houttuynia may help dissolve the coating of the cyst form - Grapefruit Seed Extract (GSE) may, too.
You can look at PubMed for abstracts on each of the things mentioned in the books below. Most abstracts are not on lyme, however. Nevertheless, the abstracts are encouraging. And each of the books has citations backing up the research.

Thanks, I did not know about the grapefruit seed extract.
I have made more progress on andrographis and Japanese knotweed than with any antibiotic western med combo (and I've tried a lot). But it seems to me since cysts can hang out a long time, they ought to be addressed.
Keebler, glad you are improving as well. I say hang in there. I was exhausted the first month on herbal protocol, but then really started to perk up with my mind clearing and body gaining energy. Sometimes I feel glimpses of normalcy for fleeting moments! If symptoms are improving, stay with it, it's working.
