My daughter had a CD-57 done two weeks ago and it was low. I sent a copy to Dr. C, since she has been off of Abx since the end of September and needed to start again. I just wasn't sure which Abx to start her on and asked if the Cd 57 gave him any indication of how to treat -- less for co-inf, etc.
He wants her to go on Doxy, then Biaxin, then mino. She has been on Mino and Biaxin before. Just wondering if anyone has had a change of treatment based on their CD 57 results?

It doesn't sound like much of a change since she's had those meds before...????
A low test result would indicate that she needs treatment, so prescribing those meds sounds reasonable to me.
Am I missing something?

My LLMD doesn't think much at all of the CD-57. No treatment decisions are made off it.
