I have not posted in awhile and for the most part I have been feeling great about 80% of symtoms are gone or not as bad. I went back to dr. last week cause I was having very heavy periods like bleeding after I had my kids. They did bloodwork and iron and everything was fine but the pi i think it was called. And the dr said by this it means my blood does not clot. It used to lol he referred me to a hemotologist. Does anyone else have or had this problem please let me know I am completly baffled as wel as dr. -------------------- Christina

What supplements are you taking? Maybe you are making your blood too thin? Usually with lyme, a lot of people have the opposite- I have sticky blood. I think the test you are referring to is called pro-time or something like that. Some supplements can definitely thin out your blood, aspirin too. Just wondering if that is having an effect on your blood now.

I agree with Maureen-I have had open heart surgery because of Lyme and have my blood tested weekly because my blood has been too thick. I was in the hospital 10 days after my surgery because of the sticky blood, not because of pain etc? I have been told that lyme causes sticky blood.
