I wonder if anyone could tell me if they have used a good abx combination? And the doses?
I can not tolerate doxy and ceftriaxone.
I think this is very difficult now. I dont know what i can try. My doctor are just giving me the same all the time, and i dont get any better, so i want to try some new abx.
I will be happy if someone could tell me if they have a good experiens with a abx combinations ..

When you say your drs keep trying the same stuff, are these LLMDs, or just family HMO drs?
If its just family drs, therein lies the problem. They dont know enough about lyme to prescribe correct combinations and dosages. If thats the case, find a LLMD in your area, make an apptmt, and start proper treatment.
If your dr is a LLMD, Im surprised that they wouldnt try other combination type therapy in order to hit the different forms of lyme.
I had doxy for 2 mos prior to going onto triple therapy. My regiment was Omnicef, Tindamax and Biaxin, along with a host of other supplements.
What other supplements are you on besides the abx?

Hi. I was misdx'd with Fibromyalgia and CFS for 7 years. I actually had a rash and my lovely PCP said it was nothing.
anyway, I take 100 mgs minocyline two times per day and bactrim two times per day. I have been taking since 10-23-08. I've just started to feel really good about 3 weeks ago.
I also take immunity boosters, probiotics, milk thistle vitamin c, b12, fish oil, vit e, coq10 and Grapefruit seed extract.
Not all at the same time though, They have to be spaced apart.
Mino has to be taken on an empty stomach. If you are a coffee drinker drink before you take otherwise you will be sick.
Bactrim I take after I eat. That combo works best because otherwise I would be sick all the day long.
Take care and good luck
