Anyone know the shortest duration recommended for Mepron in someone who has chronic Lyme? My LLMD had me stop after just three months (I did add Artimisinen a month before stopping), but I keep reading you should take it for AT LEAST four months.

Mepron is used for babesia, not lyme. 4 months + whatever is needed to get rid of babesia symptoms.

Babesia lives in red blood cells and you want to treat for the life of the cell.

This is in Dr. S's babesia book.

Thanks TerryK!

I'm wondering what the babesia symptoms are.

I don't know how to tell them apart from my Lyme symptoms.

My LLMD took me off of Mepron after just 3 mos.
