Don't know which is worse, but I CAN tell you that I developed horrible systemic yeast shortly after begining IV treatment with Rocephin. So I DO know it IS possible with IV.

I think people tend to have more gut problems with orals but both oral and IV would kill the good bacteria along with the bad.
I don't know for sure but I would think that the risks are similar.

Since I've been on both orals or else IV's separately, I think it really depends more on the particular antiboitic.
Some orals are worse than other orals and the same with IV's.
I know that I thought once I went to IV's, it was going to be easier with yeast, but I've had to fight with diet, probiotics and various herbs to keep it in check no which way the abx was given.
