I am at a loss here, I finally found a "super bart" drug and I am herxing so bad I feel like I could loose it.
Anyway, after 8 days with a non stop surely bart herx related migraine like headache I am getting desperate.
Tried many things already. Did baclofen last night and dont know if that helped or not...but its hurting again...not taking baclofen during daytime as its going to make me too tired surely.
I read clonidine is possibly good for headaches...got some of that here...anyone use that?
What have I tried?
Immetrex asprin naproxen ibupren darvocet codeiene APAP DXM 100mg doses...helped alot but didnt take it out Fioricet SSRIs (lexapro mainly-seems to inhance the marcogites in the immune system...I watched them become more aggressive in my blood from lex...and a 06 study shows this) alternative meds a sander machine placed on my head to viberate my brain...works well as long as its on...but pain returns when I shut off.
Benzos seem to block the migraine until they wear off then its worse afterwards
Mediucel (ground pysillium seeds) seems to somehow remove migraine as it runs though intestions...I could actually feel the connection...but it promptly returns rapidly and seems to have stopped working) also using herbs etc that "claimed to target" hypercougulation since bart is well known to cause this. and my blood does show this effect.
I believe I have bart strain 1 or carrions disease from mexico....an illegal brang it to chicagoland Illinois in the 1980s...I had a oryla fever like illness in around 1983 been not that well since....my pet cat also was determined to show signs of carrions way back then...but we never met the connection and we ignored the DX since vet said carrions should or couldnt be in illinois~! Cat later got sick with "cancer" and died from "overhydration" as vet gave him too much IV fluids in the ICU. Later in autoposy, the vet found purple nodes riddled thoughout this poor cats body, he refused to culture it for cancer, he said the cat had a rare form of cancer that was not all that aggressive but he would have died within 6 months. So, clinically the DX was cancer...but I cant stop thinking about purple nodes and how thats what carrions disease causes. The cat did live a full life...very long 23 yrs.....but I can recall he seemed somewhat sick ever since that, like me after that terrible"summer flu" in 1983.

The cat also displayed a purple node in approx 1988 that was discovered by vet in right side ear channel...late last year my duck found one in my right ear! CRAZY

Topamax can be very effective for headaches. Also research Co-10 for migraines. There is much written about it.
You need at least 400mg a day and it takes a while to work. It's an important nutrient for lymies, as well but you can't use it if you are on Mepron.
It's also pretty expensive. Allergy Research Lab is a good high quality brand.

I'm getting a lot of headaches too, James, whilst on Rifampin, Zithromax and 3 days per week of Tinidazole, so it's possible mine are Bart-related too:
What is your Bart drug?

I am experimenting with a vet drug called revolution...its a very broad spectrum bug killer...fleas..heartworms, intest. worms, to mange..etc. So it gets into every system.
I have a scope and learned what to expect over the past yr from bart herx and man this is killing it like nothing else.
Anyway. Just found relief from DXM, but seems its a PCP derivative so...geeezzz. OMG. Well, what can I do??

Well james. You keep mentioning carrions and chloramphenicol. I mentioned Thiamphenicol ages ago. 5 times as potent as chloramphenicol but no risk of aplastic anemia.
