The pain is intense, and lasts a few seconds. Then, maybe 30 seconds later, it happens again. This has been going on all day.

I hadn't had this happen at all for a few weeks, so I thought I was over that! I guess not.

I notice when my Lyme meds are either not strong enough or I just need to switch to another that the shooting pains come back. They have stopped for months now, so I think we are finally on the right track.

Maybe you should revisit type of Lyme meds and dosages with your LLMD.

My step mother had a heart attack with those symptoms. The symptoms lasted all night and all day before the heart attack.

Please go to the doctor ASAP. This could be dangerous.

This is my first time reading answers to this post. Yesterday the pains continued all day. I also had numbness in my left check, and chills. Today the pain was totally gone, and I felt great.

I've had those pains before, as well as the cheek numbness.
