I went to a nuero who treats Lyme patients. He is thinking of putting me on iv.

He originally diagnosed me with Lyme and Babs and wanted to put me on IV. i didnt keep him as my LLMD and didnt go on IV.

Now 3 yrs later He wants to run a bunch of tests including blood tests.

Is it posible that I'll have positive for Lyme and other coinfections at this point?

I've basicly been on antibiotics and antimalarials for 3 years.

Is there anyone out there that tested positive after a few years of treatment? [confused]

I would hope so. I really hope you've seen improvement after three years of treatment!! Good luck. That's a long, long time.

I actually have not given much thought to that other bug. Don't know why, except that my Lymie brain just never went there. Duh!

At my last LLMD appointment, he said there's no telling how many germs those ticks carry. He basically insinuated that we could be dealing with other things besides the 5 known for sure tickborne illnesses. Even after him saying that, I still never thought about it until now.

Now my interest is peeked. Maybe this is the reason it is taking us all so long to get well.
