I'm a chronic lyme patient, my doctor is currently having me take high doses of Bactrim 160mg 1 1/2 tabs twice daily, Doxy 100mg 1 in am 2 at night, Malarone 200 mg am 200 pm on Mon/Wed/Fri. On the 23rd Feb. I start with a new med Flagyl 500mg 2x daily mon/wed/fri. I am also on the Lyme/Yeast diet (again). I have been having stomach pain, not nausea, but sharp pains within 10 mins after eating beef/milk.
Anyone understand what is happening?

i don't know about the stomach stuff but instead of Flagyl i take Alinia. it is more pricey but it doesn't have the side effects that Flagyl does. if you have insurance, maybe they will cover it. mine did even though it wouldn't cover the generic rocephin.

I haven't started the Flagyl yet. That begins the 23rd. Thanks for the info though.
