Going to see a New Doc on Monday.

This will be a local Primary Internal Medicine Doctor.

On my original WB blood test shows one band Lyme 23 present,
Low CD57 count of 44,
and High Numbers of HHV6 and High numbers of EBV.

My original LLMD did not do any extra tests like for any Vitamin deffincy and any vital organ tests...

What exactly should I test or get screened for ???

What other specific important tests should I ask for to be tested, checked and/or screened for ???

Thank You.

Best regards,
Eric

The list could be endless and really is narrowed down by your symptoms by a doc. For starters, I'd think Vit D 1.25 / 25-Hyd, B-1, B-6, B-12, Copper RBC, Mg RBC, Potassium RBC, iron/ferritin.

I'd want to be tested for all viral possibilities, rheumatology markers (ANA, CRP, C3, C4, C50, RF, HLA-B27, CCP, etc.).

Lastly, the basics such as CBC w/diff and comprehensive metabolic panel. That's a good start.

Oh, don't forget hormonal testing (free T3, T4, TSH, reverse T3, thyroid antibodies, testosterone (free and total), LH, FSH, SHBG, Pregnenolone, Estrogen, DHEA, etc.).

Did I go to medical school and forget? lol.

I assume you've had some testing for bacterial infections (Lyme, Babesia, Bartonella, HGE, Myco, Cpn, etc.). Maybe not Igenix, but some labs? Obviously, this is important and should be done by your LLMD.

Other ideas would be detox pathway issues, neurological tests, etc. but these are quite specialized and really need to be targeted towards your symptoms.

hi seek,

thanks much for your input and great info...

all these tests are blood tests ???

if so, they can all be done in one shot ???

should i not take any vitamins a day or two prior to ?

i will make notes of all this and ask the doc to check me for as much as she can...

and yes the lyme tests i had were done by labcorp and mdlabs,
which both showed same exact thing,
one band 23 of lyme present and high numbers of hhv6 as well as ebv.

any other advice or suggestions would be highly appreciated.

thank you.

best regards,
eric

Remember that repeat lyme tests are not necessary and often are not helpful at all.
