Are you taking Neurontin for pain and neuropathy? This is what happened to me - lights "flared" bright.
When I stopped taking Neurontin, it was a couple months before the symptom was completely gone.
Check out www.askapatient.com and type in anything you are taking - even if it is over the counter. It may be a side effect.
Just a thought. Be careful and get well soon. -p

This can be a "neuro" effect.
I see big time glare ... and double vision like 2 moons if I look up at it .. and the lights of oncoming cars nearly drive me nuts.
I would recommend getting an eye exam by a Lyme literate opthamologist.
I also wear lightly tined glasses when driving at night... IF I have to be out... and flip the rear view mirror light up .. and have a small pillow to put across the glare coming from the side view mirror.

Ugh, I deal with the same thing. Plus HORRIBLE night vision. I try not to drive at night, if possible. Heck, I try not to drive, PERIOD, when possible. I assume it's a neuro symptom.

yup, light sensitivity is a neuro symptom (cranial nerves, hypothalamus not sure?)
Our daughter had to wear sun glasses when driving in the car at night......luckily she wasn't driving as she was only 10.
With treatment her light sensitivity passed.....hope yours does too!
