I took a remedy for mycoplasmas about a week ago by using the infrared light method of dosing (remedy on solar plexus & used infrared light on several body points).
I've been going through some extra anxiety & I didn't really notice it until today. Then, I though it might be from the remedy. Mycoplasmas are strong stuff.
Does anyone know about how psychological states can interact with homeopathic remedies? I'm sure there are correlations between physical & psychological effects with homeopathic remedies.
Please post links or any comments if you know of further info about this.

Sparkle,
Anxiety can be an underlying symptom of infections. I am not that faniliar with Homeopathy, but have experienced anxiety and a lot of emotional herxing with the protocols I have used.
I have done a lot of serious crying with herxing. My guess would be it just comes with attacking the infections. Hope this helps some,
Gael

I used to recognize anxiety from chronic pain. I started getting stressed out & then I realized I needed a pain killer... it helped.
This anxiety feels a bit different, though. It's like the anxiety volume was turned up. I stopped to get some lunch & in the car it just dawned on me how anxious I was feeling.
I'm not on any psychological drugs & it's not really been a huge issue for me in the past.
Just thought there may be a connection.

I'm with Gael. I cry when I herx more and more and when addressing with abx that hit mycoplasmas. I also feel anxiety. The volume gets turned up when they bugs are acting up or when I am herxing. It is like a volume.. like the bugs are actually squeeking for lack of a better analogy.

Sparkle, I suspect there may be a connection to the remedies/nosodes.
Did you say that you already have some level of anxiety anyway, but it is worse after using the light+nosodes?
If so, that is probably a good sign - that it's a good remedy for you and that it's working. But generally speaking, a `worsening of existing symptoms' should be brief. In a chronic case, I would say maybe a few days. I wouldn't repeat the light-nosodes until the anxiety is at least back to where it was when you started.
Now, if anxiety was NEVER in your picture before, then it's a different issue.
Sorry, I don't have a link but it goes back to `similar and dissimilar aggravations' and how to interpret them. You could probably Google that along with the word Homeopathy and find lots of stuff.
Interesting, Claire.... what would be the `metals' connection? Basically a detox symptom?

A detox symptom (possibly).
Some pathogens sequester metals, so that when they are killed, the metals are released into the body causing anxiety. This was a clock-like pattern for me when killing fungus. Chlorella always resolved the issue. Another LN member helped me to identify this phenomenon two years ago or so. It was very disconcerting.
But there are many other valid reasons for anxiety also such as those mentioned here... it is sometimes difficult to tell what is what.
