Ok, another quick question...

I was doing fine with taking my daily routine of meds, and yesterday per my LLMD I added in Diflucan, zinc and doubled cats claw (all in the morning).

Now right after taking my morning round, ugh... nausea/stomache issues for 1-2 hrs...

Is it the diflucan, zinc or the cats claw?

I can either remove all three and add them back in one at a time till the culprit surfaces, or, remove them one at a time till the nausea goes away...

Any thoughts on the culprit?

Only other thought is that perhaps its an interaction between the mult meds Im taking all at the same time...

Thanks!

I know that unless I have a full stomache I better not take my diflucan. I will get so sick that I will start sweating. It lasts for about 2 hours or until I get enough food in me.

Zinc makes me nauseous. My doc recommended to take it on an empty stomach, but I puked every time. Might be the culprit.

Ditto to Tainabell: Zinc makes me nauseous, too.

I cannot take it on an empty stomach but must have it in with a formula and during a meal.

It is a vital mineral but I have to buffer it.

I have taken Diflucan on empty stomach and done fine. But that never means that would always work the same every time.

As for cats claw - I'm curious why you do a double dose. That might be too much all at once and rather than a double dose, you could just repeat it in half the time as usual.

What reason did your doctor give you for doubling it? You would be taking then, 60 drops at a time? It's not anti-infective especially, so I thought a normal dose was all that is needed.

It is the regular cat's claw or TOA-free such as Samento. If the TOA-free, I know dosing can be just one drop, so doubling is not quite the same as doubling a normal dose of the regular type. But, you might also cut back until your stomach is settled.

Hope you feel better soon.

Ill look into the zinc and diflucan a bit more. I was also suspect of the cats claw as well.

My LLMD wanted me to double my dosage on the cats claw as I was reducing the biaxin at the same time. Im taking the pill form, not the drops, 2 of them, twice a day...for 4 pills total.
