Hi Ladies,
I have stomach pains right now, and am being treated for lyme and h. pylori. Well, today, the pain is spreading to my womb area. It is a knife pain, lasts 1 second, and a few times today. Not sure if it is realted to the h. pylori, or lyme, or the fibroid I have in my upper left ovarie? Should I freak out right now?

Hi Jenin

Personal question...Is there any chance you could be pregnant? All three of mine caused pains similar to what you have described.

So for getting so personl, just a thought.

I better not be pregnant!! I am on so many drugs, I don't know what would happen.
This pain goes from the stomach, to colon, to womb area, all like a sharp pain, but it does not last long.

Jenin,

I hope you can call your doctor. If there is any chance you might be pregnant, it's best to be sure - and, relax, your LLMD can guide you.

Many pregnant women have done well with with treatment designed just for them by their LLMD.

Whatever your needs are, it's best to consult a doctor right now.

Does your LLMD know of a LL gynecologist?

In the mean time, if this is a muscle cramp, magnesium should help and it's very safe. A warm heating pad and some yoga stretches might help, too.

Best of luck figuring this out.

I wouldn't necessarily freak out over it.

Do remember that Lyme and cos. can cause a host of weird pains all over the place.

I have had similar pains too, especially over that past few days. I also had diarrhea yesterday, and my older son just said he has some diarrhea now.

So it could be an unrelated stomach bug (a lot of those weird things going around--I haven't had the typical nausea with what I had, and neither does my son).

That said, it is still best to check with your doctor and/or LLMD, just to get their thoughts on what ould be happening.

I'm just thinking that if it's a minor pain that comes and goes, as opposed to being constant, it may just be some kind of spasm, something you ate, or just someother minor irritation.

Hope you feel better!

My partner has what sounds like this and has had it for years. She has had every test come back negative (except the lyme test). So one answer would be no, don't freak out because it could be this ongoing mysterious lyme-related problem that doesn't get better or worse. Another answer would be yes, do freak out because it could be this ongoing mysterious lyme-related problem that doesn't get better or worse.

I'm sorry for both our sakes that I don't have a better answer for you. I wish you well.
