I read that too. I am suspecting it too. (Air hunger, dark urine, diarrhea) But at the moment I am treating bart and cpn with Rifampin 900 and Azithromycin 500 and Tini pulses. Any Babs regimen wouldn t fit in my protocol at the moment I think. Or can I take Artemisinin with Rifampin?

I think that's one of the reasons I started feeling so much better after I started taking Tini. It was given to me as a cyst buster, but I never herxed a lot with it, and most of the time, just felt better.

Seems kind of unlikely that tinidazole or metronidazole would have an effect on babesia. Those drugs seem to work on anaerobic bacteria and parasites, babesia lives inside RBCs which is certainly an oxygen rich environment.
Tests on hamsters does not seem to show much effect for tinidazole for babesia, and I think babesia lack the electron transport chain that tinidzole targets.
