On December 29, 2008, Greenstone LLC issued a voluntary retail-level drug recall for one lot (NDC 59762-3070-2 Lot 6HP033A) of Azithromycin 500mg tablets - 30 count bottles because the lot may not meet dissolution specifications for stability. Please note that this recall does not affect the blister pack configuration. The affected lot was shipped between August 2006 and August 2007 and has an expiration date of May 2009. Azithromycin is the recommended treatment for chlamydial infections.
