Some docs say that any manufactured vitamins or man-made pills can cause "positive ionic poisoning" which can be the root cause of different health problems. I think most people would PREFER not to take drugs, knowing that they are synthetic and not natural, right? Duh. But many do not have a choice!

I'll be on low dose, pulsed antibiotics for another 1-2 years. I prefer not to, for a long list of reasons (candida, killing flora, etc.). But one thing I DO NOT worry about is cancer.

In fact, when I first rotated Bactrim into my protocol, I had sharp pain in my lower small intestine for 3-5 weeks. I was annoyed and concerned. However, I now choose to believe that one messy infection was eradicated, and that painful area would have been a nasty colon mess some time down the road. Maybe cancer.

Since then, I've cleansed my colon, liver and gall bladder. I use probiotics and Mycopryl to "beat down" the candida. I am in the best health I've been in years -- but I am just starting my journey. [Smile]

Hope this helps...

Funny thing is antibiotics might help prevent cancer.......mycoplasma has been implicated in many cancers.

Researchers find about 55% of colon cancer patients have mycoplasma at the site of the cancer.

here are 2 examples:

my late mom was healthy and never took antibiotics or possibly for a cold, etc.

then she developed colon cancer which she went to drs. for throwing up 24/7 for several days whenever she ate certain foods. she went to drs. for 7 yrs. until a SMALL TOWN dr. pursued this and talked to a cancer dr.

she was finally diagnosed in 1988 with CARCINOID SYNDROME TUMOR CANCER ... in colon but after 7 yrs. of missing it, it ws now in her liver!

we went to rochester, minn. for 2nd opinion. next day they performed surgery to remove most of her small intestine and cancer in COLON only.

liver cancer they could not touch!

i have had my colonoscopies, 3 now, and prior 2 flexible ones going 1/3 only up beginning.

all 3 colonscopies showed PRECANCEROUS CELLS that they removed...done every 5 yrs!!

so who knows? i wasn't on long-term abx until 8--04 to 4-06 !!
