has anyone else lost the feeling in their fingers?
i lost the feeling in my pinky finger about 2 yrs ago, the ring finger about 6 months ago, the next one about a month ago. now its going towards the elbow, i still have some feeling in my pointer finger anf thumb but i can feel it losing it. the weird thing is that my foot is the same, same toes as fingers, all on left side.
they still work ok, just no feeling at all. i have burned them pretty bad, cut them, smashed them because i cant feel it happening. the dr's dont know whats wrong and i'm afraid its going to other parts of my body. when i work in my shop i tape my fingers together so they dont get into something and lose them. anyone else?

I had the exact thing happen to me in the beginning of my illness. Mine started out being left-sided but did eventually move to the right.
My doctors said it was due to something called mononeuritis multiplex.(a type of neuropathy)
It happened to me as a result of the Lyme attacking the nerves.
Thankfully, I have regained a little feeling in my fingers but my left foot is still quite numb. Also, I have lost all temperature sensation in my left foot.
My doctors recently put me on a new medicine called Metanx that is suppose to help specifically with neuropathies.
Hope this helps to know that you are not alone with these strange symptoms. Have you been checked for neuropathies?(nerve conduction tests)
