I just finished my endoscopy. He removed 2 sessile polyps, 3 mm and took biopsies. Said I had inflamation of stomach, but did not say I had an ulcer. Good news.
What would cause this polyps? He said medication can cause it, so is it all the abx I took, or the ibprofen I took on an empty stomach all these years? They also took a tissue sample and I sent it to igenx to check for lyme in my stomach.
I have cramping in my lower abdomen.
But, what about this pain around my colon. You know when you need to go to the bathroom, you get these cramps, that is what I have,. plus it also feels like a knife pain. I am always thinking this is lyme. I am going to a gynocologit just to make sure, but do I tell my GI doc today about this, or just wait for what he finds in my stomach, and wait for all the biopsies? I have aphone conference call with my llmd tomorrow, I will definately mention it to him. What to do? Jenin

jenn, do you have food allergies? that might be causing pain around colon if you gluten/wheat products and they are causing constant diarrhea problems.
glad you know more after endoscopy; they also could do a biopsy to show if you do have CELIAC disease...food allergies to wheat, etc.
