I had an acute onset of the feeling that both hands were on "icey-fire". It came out of nowhere and at first felt like shoots of lightning in my hands. It was a mild numbing yet tingly feeling. Very strange. Not like when your hand "falls asleep". Also. when I went to bed it started on the tops of both my feet. Also my lips are tingly...It went away after awhile and I finally fell asleep but the hands are starting to have some mild tingles across the knuckels and on the tops of the hand....
I am also having some very strange anxiety that I have never experienced....anyone want to take this one?? thanks

That was one of my first symptoms, along with the neck/back pain, lightheadedness and chest pain/shortness of breath.
After a couple weeks the anxiety/panic attack type stuff came in (of course at the time I thought I was having a heart attack).
I went to a neurologist who did the MRI and tests for MS, which all came back normal.
So he just told me to go to a psychiatrist for my stress/anxiety disorder.

I feel the "icey-fire" mostly in my arms. It feels like Ive put intense mineral ice, or tigers balm on them. It comes and goes along with the falling asleep pins and needles and another tingly feeling that feels more like bad circulation.
I also have tingling in my lips and sometimes my nose and tongue.
I also have periods of really bad anxiety over nothing, it then goes away for a while. I never had this before I was sick.

Yes, I had this and still do. I call it the hot flushing. It starts at my feet and goes up to my head. I am shivering yet my body feels like its is on fire internally.
I tried explaining that one to the doc and got the possum in the headlights look. (The look you get right before you run them over.)
I have aniexty all the time now. I know that I am not going to die now so I use alternate ways to calm myself before I go into a full blown Panic attack. However, sometimes its uncontroable and I had one at Hooters in Memphis that landed me in the ER there on Jan 30th of this year.
Docs thought mine was bad cirulation so I am on baby aspirin. Blah!
I know some people do really have aniexty but I never have had it and never to this extreme.

I do and it is very annoying as well as in my right leg up to my hip...numbess, twitches, spasms and muscle and bone/joint pain all kinds of fun stuff. Back on the antibiotics hoping it clears up.

Today at the exact same time as yesterday (4:25 Pacific time) my hands started to do an acute onset of tingles again.
It quieted down last night and came back mildly this morning. Now it's back with a vengence!
I called my primary doc and she sent me in for some blood tests to rule out anything. She is checking me for electrolytes, Vitmin B12, Cbc...all sorts of tests.
Right now I am taking 500mg zithromax, 400 mg doxy, Plaquinil and teasel root
The only thing I am doing different starting last Friday is that my llmd upped my doxy to 400mg (I was taking 300 mgs) and then we also added Artemisinin.
My LLMD thinks it either a toxin die-off or a herx. At leats I'm not as anxious about it today since you all have posted that you have experienced the same thing. That gives me some comfort.

That was one of the symptoms that I had every single day. Really noticable when trying to fall asleep. I even had the feeling go way up my legs and arms. That part was scary. After being in treatment for 9 months it is practically gone. I have the feeling in my knees though lately for some reason.
I also had my lips tingle and even go numb, my lips, nose and tongue would all go numb. It's a crazy disease!
