I am haveing sharp pains below my abdomen. I also have a light brownish discharge, but no itching. I do have h. pylori right now, and I have stomach pains too, but this started about 1 week ago.
I made an appointment to see an gynocologist, not until next week though. I am going to move it up. I had bad cramps yesterday which lasted a few minutes. I am on nystatin right now, and taking a short break from all abx. I do have a fibroid cyst on my ovarie, had it for decades and only caused pain on and off, but it is no big deal. Could my new pain be from lyme? I am concerned, my mother had a hysterectomy, so of course I am now concerned. I was tested for c. dificile, and it is negative. Jenin

Are you close to being due for that timeof the month?
I've been having brownish discharge before my period for a couple months, but the gyno hasn't found anything wrong.
I did have my hormone levels tested, but I haven't heard anything back yet as to whether that has anything to do with it.
As far as whether the pain could be from Lyme, who knows? Seems those evil little buggers can cause pain just about anywhere.
Just try to hang in there till your appointment.

What is your intake of magnesium? If low, increasing that to bowel tolerance might help decrease pain.
A light brownish discharge indicates stagnation of blood.
You might check out some books by author Tori Hudson, ND. You can find them at Amazon and at some libraries.
An acupuncturist or ND (naturopathic doctor) may be the best to help you in addition to your gyn. appt. next week. I never found relief for menstrual problems until seeing a good ND - and it took a while.
Tori Hudson's books are a gold mine of information.
