My husband and I are both being treated for Lyme at the same time. We both started taking Doxy. starting at 200mg a day and now we are up to 400mg a day.

We have only been on abx for a week and a half.
Today, we both noticed strange feelings on our hands. Like a tingly feeling.

It's almost as if we have put Bengay on our hands. I notice it after I wash my hands.

Anyone know a reason for this?

I have this I am guessing it is NP and seems to be somewhat common with us Lymies. I have it in my feet as well.

Treatment brings out all kinds of symptoms. Mine started before treatment but was part of a number of symptoms.

I had that tingly feeling as well on Doxy. It usually preceded sunburn on my hands. Despite sunblock, I would burn through my car's tinted windows. So consider that, too.

Yes, I wondered about that Joysie, but my hands did not appear sunburnt at all. But, I realize I will have to be careful about sunblock. I was used to that, being diagnosed w/lupus previously.

Changes in temp on skin causes that when on Doxy.

At least for me.

I would think it's sun sensitivity.
