"Diagnosing Lyme Disease"

"Lyme Disease
Dr. Oz talks to two experts who are trying to uncover answers about a little-known illness."

I know the interview is old, but its great that it is being featured on a high volume mailing list!

I think that is what prompted the call to action to post on

her site to get Oprah to do a show. I notice there are comments on the right hand side of the page.

Since it seems

that very few are now posting on the Oprah link we were all posting on previously. Why don't we all start posing on this one and flood it with requests.

Well I just got the e-mail today that the Oprah website was featuring the interview. It's just interesting that they put it on the mailing list. Anything could have gone in that spot.

Looks like our posting is doing *something!*

Yay [Smile]

Agreed, it's a good sign.

I just posted. Old or not it's still taking comments. http://www.oprah.com/article/oprahandfriends/moz/20081126_oaf_moz

Please, every post here, too. It can't hurt. I think it can only help. It only allows 180 characters.

This is what I posted:

"Dr. Oz & Oprah please do a show on this very serious disease. Help educate the public; the IDSA guidelines are causing needless suffering. 20 years of my life ruined by Lyme."

Come on everyone post your comments here:

http://www.oprah.com/article/oprahandfriends/moz/20081126_oaf_moz

Don't waste this opportunity to help get Oprah to do a show about Lyme disease.

I tried 5 abbreviated sentences after a paragraph was bounced. Still won't post even though it's slightly shorter than one already there. ??

180 characters max. OK...

"Asking U folks 2make concerted effort 2RAISE AWARENESS! Serious health risk lingering in backyards ACROSS Northeast $10-20K+ to get child better if not caught early.
2 shows? 1 w/activists patients,
1 w/LLMDs US.Rep IDSA"

I count less than 180. Am I delusional? -'Kete

sorry to hear. I had to change what I wanted to say because it was too long. It took me six attempts and resulted in an incomplete sentence.

It is very frustrating. May be you can try again later.

that's why we have stayed with COMMUNITY PAGE since we are all long-winded and limiting us to a few characters is too hard on our neuro brains!

But the numbers posting on the community page have trickled to a few each day so why not post here too if you have already posted one the community.

Even two on point lines will add to our message. I say every one post like crazy. 1200 plus posts here,as well, we'll send a loud message that our story needs to be heard.

There is still yet another great opportunity to post comments on this pro Lyme article, as well.

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/greg-mitchell/ticking-time-bomb-literal_b_173140.html#postComment

and don't for get Oprah's other link:

http://www.oprah.com/article/oprahandfriends/moz/20081126_oaf_moz

Only five people have posted on it since Amanda posted this info early this morning.

Come on folks, keep those comments coming.

If you have already posted on Oprah's community board can everyone take a minute to post here to

Dr. Oz. It will only take a minute as there is a
180 character limit. Two sentences asking for his help.......that's it. There have only been 13 posts

from us since Amanda posted this.

Come on every one just do it TODAY.

Don't know what to say with 13,000 plus members and over 1,200 posts of Oprah's community board, I'm

not sure why our members can't take a few minutes to

write two or three lines on Dr. Oz's page to flood it as we did Oprah's page. It would only be to our benefit, more proof for Kathy Fowler to show there

is great interest and suffering taking place and
that a show on Oprah is more than warranted.

I know we have all been asked to do a lot lately but it's only if we make our voices heard that we will have a good chance of being listening to. And this looks like a very good chance and we have some great backing behind us.

Here's the link folks, please post:

http://www.oprah.com/article/oprahandfriends/moz/20081126_oaf_moz

And yet another one. A journalist who understands Lyme and writes a pro-lyme article.

There is a comment page. Only 44 comments. We could get his interest, just maybe, to expose this further if he hears our voices.....

Not sure I know what you mean about way off numbers.

Lymenet says it has 13,025 registered members and

there are 1,272 posts on Oprah's community boards.

How is that way off? And now there are 110 posts

on Dr. Oz's link;

http://www.oprah.com/article/oprahandfriends/moz/20081126_oaf_moz

When Amanda posted this on March 13 there were, I

believe, 95 posts on the above link, now there's

110.

THAT'S A VERY POOR RESPONSE RATE. And all it

requires is two or three sentences as that is all

the site will allow. Five minutes of your time

max.

Everyone is already registered who already posted

on Oprah's community board.
