I have been reading some older threads on the EBV. CMV and HHV6 viruses and noted that some of you are using anti-virals. Are any of you having success with them?
Also, I would like to hear how high titres have been reported. My daughter's are through the roof. And she is in her third round of fever lasting 2 to 3 months! She pretty much has had a fever for about 6 months of the past 12!
We are seeing two llmd's and are not getting any treatment advice from either!
Please give me some good news! Well, just some of your experiences in the absence of good news.
Thanks.

I had extremely high titers for EBV, HHV6 and CMV.
In fact my CMV titers were so high the lab could only assign
A greater than sign above their highest measured level.
I did 8 months of valcyte.
I didn't notice any big changes.
However, my neighbor has been on valcyte for same issues,
And other than fatigue, she feels better than she has in 2 years.
Hugs,

Thanks, Geneal. Have both of you tolerated Valcyte pretty well? Were you on abx at the same time?

Locate Timaca. She's the one who knows all the viral stuff.

Natural supplements that work are L-Lysine, monolaurin, Olive leaf extract, oil of oregano and high doses of Vitamin C. Also, Alternative doc's
use IV nutritional drips to bring down viral loads consisting mainly of very high doses of vitamin C and other nutrients. Some use IV hydrogen peroxide drips for viruses, as well, depending what your viruses are.
