maybe if you got on an oral antibiotic for lyme and the cyst, along with heparin and a good detox protocol. You could go without IV's... but I can't decide that

It is not unusual to relapse during a time of stress on the body or mind or as one ages. Anything that decreases the function of the immune system may cause a relapse.
If you weren't diagnosed and treated for any co-infections that you had at the time of your initial treatment, there is probably a greater chance of relapse. Especially with some co-infections because they are very depressing to the immune system.
I know a number of people who have gotten well on orals. Some of us need IV. I think most LLMD's would try orals first but of course they would use their judgement based on your history and current condition etc...
If you are doing aerobics and weight lifting and only have a few symptoms, I would expect that you would end up on orals initially and may never need IV but again, it would be up to your LLMD's judgement.
