I bet this Q has come up before, if a seasoned vet can point me to an answer that'd be just great.
I am only on oral abx, but I have 3 different prescriptions. Will I have any issue taking them through airport security for domestic travel?
Can I pack supplements in checked luggage?
I will be going out of town for work Sat-Thurs. If it was shorter, I would even consider coming off treatment, but I don't think it'd be good for that long.
Maybe this is a non-issue, I just don't know if they may ask me why I have so many different abx. Any advice is appreciated!

I just returned from Europe and I had no problems with my many meds. I did carry them on the plane though. After being a flight attendant for many moons I know that checked items might not arrive at the same location at the same time as the passenger. I didn't want to lose my meds for even a brief period.
No one asked why in the world I was traveling with a complete pharmacy down to nausea and pain medicine. I think all in all I had close to 12 bottles of various meds.

If you want to be on the safe side you can ask your
doctor to write a letter stating that it is
medically necessary that you have these medications
with you. Wouldn't trust the airlines these days.
They change the rules every minute.

I've been to Europe and on domestic flights too with no problem, as long as it is not liquid.
If it is liquid, it has to be less than a 4oz container and put in a plastic quart baggie separated from your other luggage going thru security.
I also carry a thermal baby bottle sack (got that in Baby's R Us, (stays cold for up to 12hours) for my high strain/high culture probiotics which need refrigeration or they will die.
Hope this helps a little.

I just came back from AUS and carried my meds on the plane with no problem. In the same bag, I also kept a copy of the perscriptions that the pharmacy prints out for you and attachs to your bag when you pick up your meds. I do admit, I was nervous as to what customs would think looking at all the meds I was carrying!

They MIGHT ceck 1 or 2 vials or jars if you look "suspicious", but as long as all 'script drugs are in seperate, proper pharma vials & labelled w/ your name, there won't be an issue.
You should take the smallest containers for supplements that you need. 1 week's worth won't be that much.
Don't bother checking them in luggage. Just carry on. They expect that.

Yes, but remember carry on stuff can't be big bottles of everyday vitamins etc. I tried to pack all my I must haves in my carry on.
They looked through the bag and looked at me like I must be crazy. It wasn't my scripts. It was huge containers of Miralax, epsom salts, etc. lol
Was I ever in lala land last year as I packed my essential carry on bag???? Lyme brain was more like it.
It was my first flight since 9/11. But I still knew the rules.
