I thought i was dying. but thats just me....
I had horrible gastro problems. Intense pain and burning of my internal organs.
extreme fatigue, loss of muscle coordination, headache
I stopped after 5 days.
The symptoms didn't go away right away. I wound up doing a liver cleanse to try and get back to normal. That was extremely rough too. Since then i haven't been able to eat red meat, but i guess thats a good thing!

It was horrible!!!! The taste alone was real bad.
I never herxed on it, that I know of, but it did make my anxiety/panic attacks flare back up somethin' wicked!
I am currently on Tindamax, which basically is the same thing, but less harsh on you.
There are a couple of drugs used for "Cyst Bustin'", but many stick with Flagyl because it works great.

I got VERY depressed with both Flagyl and Tindamax. To the point where I wanted to jump off a bridge.
I didn't herx and that made me think that I didn't have Bb. Then the major depression set in. There was nothing else going on in my life at the time so I know it was the cyst busting.
Everyone is different so keep that in mind.

It is tough for the first month. Lots of twitching and other weird things. Lots of fatigue and nausea too.
Take it slow. If you go up too fast on the dose, you will feel it. Inch up (break the pills in half) is my advice and back off a little sometimes but try not to give up!
I believe it really helped bust all the cysts I likely had from the doxy and zithromax I was on for almost 2 years.
I stayed on Flagyl and other stuff for 6 months and feel pretty ok. Scared to even say that with this disease. Like it's listening and gonna get me!
Anyway, I'm not all better but soooo much better since the Flagyl.

I did Flagyl my first month of treatment 500mg a day. It was rough, but it is important because it is a cyst buster and you must do a cyst buster.
I don't have any lasting effects from it that I am aware of.
