Ok, so I have been on 400 mg of Doxy 10 days and just 200 for the first 6 days. My doc really didnt give me a total plan (this is why a LLMD so important now). Anyways, I am just taking that but I know he mentioned probiotics...
What do those do? Is there any other highly suggested herbal supplements that may help as well. I have read alot through out this site but I dont want to take tons and tons of stuff in fear it will counter act with my other meds.
I am still waiting on my lyme disease solution book. I am in the process of reading cure unknown.
I hope you all are doing well!!

Jaimie, It is VERY important to take probiotics when taking abx. The probiotics help to keep your intestinal flora balanced, help prevent overgrowth of yeast which can happen when on abx, and provides overall support for your immune system.
I'm suprised to hear that you are not taking other supplements such as alpha Lipoic Acid, CoenzymeQ10, and N-Aceytl Cysteine. (these are a few of the ones recommended by my LLMD)

Thank you for your advice. I will get some right away. My doc is not a LLMD but he does treat lyme. There is no way I could do an out of state visit. I thought I could but I really would have to do some pole dancing for that. HA!
I am reading as much as I can. I have to take so many breaks from reading that I kinda have put it on the back burner. Saying that though is basically saying, Hey looks everyone! I am a dumbutt by putting my health on the back burner!!
I need some reeces!!
Oh, yea so I guess I need to be adjusting my diet too huh? I want sweets all the time now!

Jaimie you are too funny!! I understand about not being able to travel out of state for treatment due to finances. I travel 5 hours to see my LLMD and it is very hard on our budget. Pass the Reeces....I love peanut butter.
