I started antibiotic treatment 4 months ago, but this new symptom started about 10 days ago. It is a numb feeling in my lower left leg and ankle. It is a very annoying feeling that I always notice, whether I am sitting, standing, or walking. The numb feeling has progressed upwards. I used an exercise machine yesterday for the first time in a few weeks, and my left leg got tired sooner than my right.
Does anyone else have this? What are the possible causes? Lyme or coinfections?

Lyme can cause this to happen.
So can inflammation of the nerves.
Might want to mention it to your doctor at the next appointment.
I also suffer from left-sided weakness and numbness. It has progressed to the point to where I depend on a walker to help with mobility and I have no use of my left arm. (not trying to scare you)
I was in physical therapy for over a year and while it helped my balannce problems a little, it did not significantly help with the weakness. My LLMD seems to think it will improve with Lyme treatment.(I'm actually having my port-a-cath put in later this afternnon!)
I'm so sorry that you are experiencing these scary symptoms and if you'd like to talk more or have any questions, please feel free to send me a PM.
