Hey,

My PICC was pulled last Friday and I am Schelduled to get a port/PICC put in soon.

My problem now is the fact that I have really bad abdominal pain.

It's not stabbing pains, it's more like a dull pain. If I cough it's the worst.

Whats wierd is the fact that I'm not on any IV's right now so I don't think the orals I'm on would be the problem.

I don't know what it is. The only way I can explain it is if the doctor layed you down and pushed on your lower abdomin in those "spots".

I don't know if it's a kidney stone or a gall stone...

Anyone???

Thanks Again!

It could just be lyme. It did this to me. Once it lasted for 10 days. I lived on narcotics and just laid on the couch.

All examinations were normal; all tests were negative, including a complete body scan at the ER.

Then, on the 10th day, shortly after coming home from the ER, it left.

Go figure.

Lyme can cause abdominal pain, period.

For what it is worth, I get lower, dull abdominal pain when I have a yeast infection in my gut. Usually taking a Diflucan will do the trick....hope it is nothing more severe!

Yeah...

I figured it may be the yeast, I was on Diflucan for a while then stopped.

Today isn't nearly as bad as yesterday.

Thanks for the replies!

If it's yeast you have to lay off the carbs, sugar, juice, soft drinks, starchy foods (pasta, bread, rice, peas, corn, etc., and take lots of good probiotics. You can try Olive leaf extract and Grapefruit seed extract to kill off the yeast.

It works well and will kill off other stuff too. Buy the gelatin capsules and put the grapefruit seed extract (NutriBiotic) in the capsules, as it tastes horrible and swallow it. Take these all away from the probiotics or it will kill them.

Is your tongue coated with white? If so, that's yeast too. Brush your tongue with the grapefruit seed extract.....YUCK, and scrape it with a tongue scraper. After you rinse really well,

open up a few capsules of acidophilis on you tongue and let in dissolve on your tongue to repopulate the good bacteria.

Ain't this disease fun........ [bonk]
