SO, I had an h. pylori blood test (positive), treated for 20 days with aggressive prevpac, retested with stool test, and endoscopy, and both came out negative. Endoscopy came clean on candida, lyme (sent stomach tissue to igenx) , celiac, yeast, etc..only had stomach inflation, and 2 poylps removed. So, once I finished the abx treatment, I began taking mastic gum, 2 tabs 2 times a day. I stayed on that, still having sympomts, then at the end of March, I slowly felt better. Some of the h. pyolri symptoms had gone, like mucus and chest pain. I started eating again too. Then, 4 days ago, my kids get a stomach bug, throwing up, and diarearreah. So, then I get it too!!!nice. I threw up 4 times on Tues, got so dizzy, my body was shaking and I thought I was gonna die. I knew lyme had something to do with it too. Wed I still felt quizzy, Thurs felt better and ate food, and did not throw up. Fri, and today, I am feeling nasuea again, stomach noises, some stomach pain. Ate food (fried), and did not throw up today. Question, can this be the stomach virus which is taking long for me (my kids are feeling better now), or is this the h. pylori again? I did not really feel naseau when I had full blown h. pyloir, but I did get the major stomach noises and the stomach pain. Once you kill the h. pyloir, can it come back? I see my llmd Monday (Hurray!!), and I hope he can help me. He took me off all meds for 1 months so far to heal my stomach. Not sure what he will do now. What do you guys think about this stomach issue? Jenin

I think it could still be the stomach healing from the virus.
If it doesn't stop bothering you after a time, consider that you and your whole family may need to be treated for h. pylori.
I know some doctors don't think it is necessary to treat everyone in the family but others do. One of my doctors said there is no proof that it can be passed between family members but another one treats the whole family to ensure that it doesn't get passed around again.
I don't know which is correct but better to be safe than sorry. Hope you feel better soon.
