this is my 3rd relapse in 18 yrs. and have been experiencing this very maddening symptom. as you can imagine wearing clothing is a problem. the symptom varies in intensity and comes and goes.
Am interested in knowing if others have experienced this problem and if and how they treated it. hopefully successfully. thanks a bundle.

My daughter has dealt with this symptom, it is horrible, she cannot even shave her legs or cover them with sheets, wear shoes, etc.
She is diagnosed with RSD, secondary to the Lyme/Co-infections.
She is on a lot of pain meds, which help minimally.
I hope that you find relief.

Burning skin like in sunburn pain? Yep, I have that. Each relapse it got stronger and more persistent. It always reoccurs when I'm run down or stressed. At its worst, it felt really warm, too.
My LLMD says its toxins - die off from the body fighting the infection.
Treat the infection. The pain will eventually subside.
Good luck. Cheryl Sue
