Hi:

LLMD put me on Cats Claw and Minocycline and I had to stop after 1 week from huge herxing.

He wanted me to wait 4 days and start again and I did start just the CC yesterday and am herxing pretty good again today, even without the Minocycline, which I have yet to restart.

Wondering if any of you have experienced significant herxing with CC only, and whether the duration and/or intensity of the herx was different than it was with the ABX by itself or even in combo with the CC.

Looking for other experiences with CC....

Thx,
dave

I have been on Samento plus other supplements for the last four weeks.

From what I understand, my LLMD wanted to strengthen my body before starting me on abx.

I have herxed moderately on Samento. In particular my skin has broken out in a rash on my back, chest and arms.

I have had moderate mental confusion and vision problems as well. Plus even more fatigue if that is possible.

I started on the prima una de gato at a very slow pace. I added a drop every 3 or 4 days. He said I would Herx and that I should not up the dose until after I herxed and had one decent full day. Sometimes I would Herx for 2 full days and sometimes more. It took me a very long time and I'm still not at the full dose the dr. wants. I plateaued for about a month or so. I've been on it for 5 months. Good luck!

My 16 year old daughter took Cat's Claw for one week and it was horrible. On the third day she stared this robotic movement that lasted 15 minutes the first time, and went up to 45 minutes by the end of a week. She practically fell off the couch while these movements were happening, and would end up sweating profusely. It became too horrific to withstand, and it ended up leaving her back in worse shape than when she began, so we stopped.

Hi Patty:

Yes, that's the ramp up my LLMD uses as well. I was able to get to 3 drops twice a day and that's been it.

Here I thought it was the Minocycline, but I'm wondering if it's the CC.

I may just try the 3 drops for a couple days and see if things calm down.

Sheesh, I'm also supposed to start Zithromax this week as well!

I'll probably call in Wed. and see what he wants me to do...

thanks for all the comments everyone.

Dave

I tried 2 capsules and will wait to see what my LLMD says about it. It must be very powerful somehow. But I'm gonna see what he says about it. If I'm gonna be that sick I am going to be doing the antibiotics with it. Sort of get it over with all at the same time. LOL

Hi Randi:

No, I didn't refrigerate it. Nothing about that on the label.

I have the Allergy Research brand. Anyreason why?

Thx,
Dave

I never had a reaction or herx to Cat's Claw. Everyone is different though. While some meds/herbs can make people herx big time, it doesn't make others herx at all or very little... everybody reacts differently to different protocols and medicines.
