Hi,

I have been on treatment for 9 mo. and

although most of my symptoms have improved or

gone away, I can't get rid of this air hunger!

Just wondering if anyone else has had any luck.

We have been treating very aggresivly with

Mepron, Zithro, Omni, artimisinin, malerone,

etc. etc. (you get the point!)

Thank you, Thank you!

Sorry this is not one of my symptoms, though I do have babs, I've strangely never had this.

What dose did you take of the Malarone? Anywhere from 2-4 per day is good.

Hope you get it figured out!

My air hunger goes away within a few days of starting zith, bactrim, or biaxin. It gets worse on doxy.

As you have done all this Babs treatment and you still have the airhunger then maybe it's not from Babs.

Only recently, I found out that my airhunger is caused by hyperventilation which could be the cause for many of my other symptoms, too.

Did you check if you hyperventilate?

I still have air hunger.

I've been after babs for over one year now.

My third go around with this.

Makes me wonder if it isn't the "new mystery bug".

Mine is better.

Have had some days without air hunger.

I really understand how you feel.

This is the one symptom I hate the most and the one

Symptom that has been slow to leave.

Funny thing is, my air hunger goes away when I lay flat.

Almost a relief to get into bed.

Hugs,

Geneal

I don't know which microorganism was causing my air hunger, but this was the trigger every time...

Electromagnetic disturbances with the sun are also triggers. We had a cycle 24 sunspot the other day, and my air hunger is back.

I have that same symptom from time to time and never quite found out what it was.. was treated for lyme and babesia.. (have had active lyme for 12 years).. Went to an allergist thinking it may be asthma since it runs in my family. I do have some allergys but he even suggested that it could be costcondritis (spl?) and that restricts your lung expansion. I talke Advil or something like that and it seems to help.. although sometimes it seems it lasts for days.. Its an awful feeling.. I can sympathize with you believe me. I hope you feel better soon, hang in there! [Smile]
