Hi, Can anyone recommend a doctor or ARNP who at least understands lyme testing so I can help a friend just get tested. They don't have to be a lyme doctor, just someone who will go the extra mile to help get the right test for accuracy.
Thanks!
Curley

If you can't find anyone who specializes in Lyme you can always DEMAND that a regular doctor do the tests, make sure to get the Western Blot, and if they come out negative and you still think it's lyme than go to someone who specializes in it for an Igenex test.
The LDA has a find a doctor application and if you ask in General Support you'll most likely get a response. Betty G gave me a very helpful list, but she took a breather.

I think John S ment if you post this in Seeking a Doctor. That's the "find a LLMD".
You also should try contacting a local Lyme support group. That page's link is on the left side of page under the "Flash Discussion"
Good luck

I guess I posted it in the wrong place =) I posted it in General Support because Carol from Healing Well(I think that was the site) said there.
