Sometimes I wonder if anyone else experiences the symptoms I experience or has the feelings I have. I doubt lyme disease enough as it is, but then when I feel as BAD as I do, I wonder if other people have the same symptoms which would make them feel AS bad as I do and/or the same and know what I'm experiencing.

The worst symptom I have is a mix of feeling like I'm going to faint or lose consciousness and sort of a feeling of just not being myself. Like literally feeling like a zombie or the 'walking dead' like Dana had said on UOS. Kind of a disconnect or depersonalization/derealization. And I know people have the latter symptom (derealization and depersonaliziation) but I have that on top of feeling like I may black out or lose consciousness. It's a really scary/uncomfortable feeling. And then add on to that having head pressure, extreme hearing sensitivity, and shortness of breath as well as feeling like my body is poisoned or just feeling completely "off" (this is a hard one to explain).... it's kind of scary to even be alive having such symptoms all at the same time.

I was doing so well when I was first put on 2 tsp. Mepron. I was having so many good days and it gave me SOOOO much hope. As soon as my LLMD put me on 3tsp of Mepron with 100mg Art 3x a day (though I usually don't get around to taking THAT much Art), I have felt horrible with the above mentioned feelings... and this has been going on for over a month. It's hard to feel THIS sick for a month straight when I just had a lot of good days, more than I've ever experienced since being sick. It's really getting me down and making me very depressed.

Mepron was like my miracle drug for a couple o f months until upping the dosage. I don't know what to think.

Just curious if anyone else here has the same awful symptoms/feelings I have and know what I'm talking about? Sometimes I just feel so alone (even though I know I'm not).

Do you think you are herxing?

My guess is alot of those symptoms that i have are babs related for me. And babs herxes have been hard and long for me. Maybe because you increased both the mepron and art at the same time youare having a bigger herx?

Are you doing anything for detox? Has your dr helped you with what to do for detox?

Hope you feel better soon [group hug]

Azure - I don't do a lot of detox, no. Sometimes I will take Burber and Pinella and that has helped some. Sometimes it helps a LOT and other times it doesn't help much.

Truthfully, it's been a few days since I've taken my antibiotics. I don't know if that's the cause or not. I thought stopping the antibiotics would help me to feel better, but it hasn't helped AT ALL.

Disturbed Me,

When I was at my worst I felt the same way you do. I totally know what you mean about feeling like you are going to black out every second of every day. It is horrible. I'm sorry you deal with this.

This symptom has improved for me but, when I'm having a bad day then I feel a more mild version of this.

You are not alone. I do get that light headed, feeling like i'm going to faint or black out or lose consciousness. Sometimes I can push through it and just lose my balance, fall, walk into things, drop things, etc. Sometimes it actually happens and that's really not fun.

And I get the zombie, walking dead feeling. Gets worse the more tired I get. Some days are just worse than others to start. I'm there but not really, just a shell of me.

And the head pressure, ear pressure, extremely sensitive hearing, chest tightness/ shortness of breath, feeling off, just plain bad and so much more!

I'm positive for Babesia too. Treated with Mepron for several months, only 2tsp per day. Just recently switched to Malarone 2 tabs per day. Hoping and praying that soon i'll start feeling better.

We just have to keep hoping and trying.

Since you felt better for awhile, maybe you should back down to 2tsp of Mepron again and or stop the Artemesia for awhile to see if you can get back to where you were before these adjustments were made. Maybe it is just too much for you right now.

Hang in there, OK. You're not alone. We will get better some day!

Don't take fish oils with art okay.

Maybe back off the art and see.

Can you back off to two teaspoons of mepron a day?

I know how you feel.

In the beginning this was the strangest feeling.

Very difficult to describe to someone else.

I told my Mom that my life was like a dream or nightmare if you please.

I heard people talking, I saw people doing things,

Yet it was like I was dreaming this "movie" of life.

The worst was when my children would tell me they loved me.

I would answer, but that wasn't "real" either.

It was just this automatic response.

Hang in there.

Hugs,

Geneal

Geneal - what is wrong with fish oil and Art? Never heard of that.

And do you mean do not take together at the same time or together even in the same day?

Dear disturbedme,
OMG! That is exactly how I have been feeling! Sometimes it is like you are on a boat and there is a sensation of bobbing up and down a little bit. I also have extreme sound sensitivity, feeling faint, fatigue, etc. Another thing is I cannot stay with the same sleep pattern for long. There are some weeks where I am going to bed and waking up at normal times, and then others I am waking up at midnight and staying up all the next day. Feeling like this is miserable, and no one seems to understand.

Sincerely,
Jin

Sound like you have to get rid of the poisons from

dieing Bb getting built up in your system after

increasing dose. I think OJ and salt will help. But

these guys know best.
