My insurance still will not cover any more Mepron or Malarone. Does anyone have a good place overseas I can or it or from Canada at a discount? Or even a place in the US. My doc told me last week he wants me back on since even my Quest test IGm was high at 1:1280. Fsh was negative back a while but this lastest test by Quest just shows this tuff is so hard to beat. Thanks.

lowest I've seen online was $640 or so per bottle, that's 21 days worth, through some Canadian/Indian place listed at pharmacychecker.com
Do you qualify for the manufacturer's 'patient assistance program'? Go back to the Medical Questions topic view listing, and look at the one at the top that is called 'so what do YOU do when you run out of money"- it has some links to programs that help patients who need meds. Usually you have to be under a certain income but perhaps there's a way to qualify if your main problem is not being able to get insurance to cover it. I'm just not sure.

Yes, I have tried that program through GlaxoSMith Klein and they are very rigid about the salary requirement. They used to be better about that- so now we don't qualify. Malarone too- in fact they will only give a month of Malarone out because of the contract or use of it. Too bad we don't have generics for them! Theya re making so much money off this stuff. Just can't beleive one bottle of that yellow stuff is $800. Thanks anyway- if anyone else has ideas let me know!
Tracey9 I will be in touch with you! Thanks for the PM!

the patent on Mepron expires soon, by the way- I think a year or a 18 months from now. I don't remember where I read that. It should be very good news for us when that does happen and generic drug makers ramp up production.
