A few days after starting antibiotics I noticed I had a lot of bubbles in my urine. Sometimes it even looks frothy. I know that I NEVER had this before.
I went online and it said that bubbles in the urine can be a sign of kidney failure. Ah! What the heck?
I'm wondering if this is just some weird side effect of the Tetracycline? Anyone else have this?

Are you on Diflucan? If you are on an antifungal, the urine can become foamy as well.

I also have bubbles in the urine. I have also been tested without any findings. Get tested for protein in the urine. Bubbles in the urine can be a sign of kidney problems or high blood pressure, but the chances are slim and the bubbles are most likely a result of something else.
I have less bubbles at certain times during the day so I'm almost sure mine is related to the supplements I take.
I read a website posting by a urologist and she said that bubbles in urine is fairly common among people and generally benign. A simple analysis of your urine should be good enough.
