I am having a birthday too this month.

23 years!

Not my age but the number of years I've been trying to get rid of this "easy to diagnose" and "easy to cure" disease.

During that time I've seen the sick children and worried parents... thousands and thousands of them.

And I will admit I am one of the worst when it comes to taking advantage of this dear doctors love and concern and expertise.

When there is a child sick with Lyme, the first words out of my mouth are usually, "Take your precious one to see Dr. Jones. He will fix them."

And he has never refused to help.

As the state of Connecticut continues to pound him into the ground for doing what he feels he must do, he still takes all the children who come to him and he helps them.

It is a rare day I make a request for donations. But this is an exception.

If you can help Dr. Jones, he will be able to fight the CT slymes and keep the door open so that our children and grandchildren will get help.

His fight is for all the children around the country and around the world.

Please do what you can to assist him. That is MY birthday wish too.

Thank you!

Thanks Abx...

This is one person that I am in awe of, respect to the highest degree and can't imagine not having around to help our little ones.

I have several, but he is one of my hero's.

He and his lovely ladies are the best!

Tincup, what you wrote was heartfelt. I never would have thought you were just 23. You are wise beyond your years.

We are going to try to attend as well. Dr. Jones is a great man who has helped so many kids, mine included. I'll be on the lookout for my fellow lyme parents [Smile]

Moving this back up to the top.

Please consider a donation to honor Dr. Jones. Any amount adds up. Dr. Jones is a hero to the Lyme community. This fight is not only for the children but all with Lyme.

A reminder for all.
The best gift for Dr. Jones would be your presence at this celebration. What an opportunity for us all to thank Dr. Jones who has done so much for the Lyme community.
