I seem to get an increase in soreness/stiffness/pain/tight muscles and tendons on Diflucan combined with a sort of burning pain. This is especially across my upper back. Also a chest cold feeling with coughing especially in the a.m.

I was doing Diflucan daily for about a month while on a boat load of other meds and supplements so I couldn't pick out what was the problem but it was all too much so I cut way back on everything and then only did Diflucan like 3 times per week and noticed more pain the morning after taking it. Now I've been on it a few days again b/c my tongue was starting to look whitish and the pain has been getting increasingly worse.

Does anyone else have this happen on Diflucan? I'm guessing this is a yeast die-off? I must really be full of yeast. I'm about ready to take a break from everything and see what my base-line is.

I too am on diflucan and have noticed an increase soreness and spasms in my neck and upper back area. I just tell myself it's the Ketes running for their lives. The thought that I am causing them some pain just sort of equals things out. Okay, not really, but I'll take any excuse I can.

I was tested for yeast and did not have it so I really do think it is from the Ketes and not the yeast. At least in my case.

So you really think Diflucan has that much of an effect on Lyme itself? Hmmmm...I didn't think of that but I now remember hearing that it can hit Lyme and even bust some cysts.

I've done the diflucan protocol for well over a year.

I take 200mg of diflucan daily for 60 days then take two weeks off.

I then repeat the cycle.

Yeast die off can cause a herx reaction.

I believe that diflucan can also hit the Lyme.

Hugs,

Geneal

Geneal,

How did you do on that? Did you do diflucan alone for a whole year? Did you get symptoms like I described? I also tend to get a sore throat along with what I mentioned above.
