Okay, I don't know what's going on here.
We walked around a street fair on Saturday, and my lower back has been KILLING me since then, and the pain is also in my hips and knees.
I don't know if it's coincidence or not, but around the same time as the back pain showed up, so did the lightheadedness.
It was so bad on Sunday at church that I was starting to space out and almost passed out.
I asked the chiropractor about it tonight when she adjusted me, and she focused on my sacrum but wasn't sure if the pain and the lighteheadeness could be related.
I've been sitting with an ice pack on my lower back per her instructions, but no relief.
Could these symptoms be related, and could they be from Lyme and coinfections?
I started Rifampin a week ago; could I be herxing?
Oh, this is literally SUCH a pain!!!!!

The joint pain is common including lower spine. The dizziness is also common . Most dizziness, fainting ,low blood pressure is caused by "NMH" Neurally Mediated Hypotension. Do a search here on lymenet for "NMH" Lots of info. Have you had a Tilt Table test done?

I get mind-numbing lower back pain every couple of months that lasts for a week or two and then it goes away until the next attack.
I do nothing specifically to cause it (like lifting heavy items, etc) so I suspect it is Bb.
Also was just diagnosed with NMH this past week as I too was having problems with being dizzy and lightheaded (particulary at church with the standing and kneeling) - the medication seems to help quite a bit...
Hope the back gets better - let us know how things progress

Thanks for the replies.
Nope, never had a tilt table done--where do you go for that? Is that in the LLMD realm or another dr.?
Today the back pain is a lot better, and not as much dizziness/lightheadedness.
But now I'm sore all over, like someone beat me with a baseball bat.
I'm wondering if I am herxing now...
