I have been doing research on heavy metal chelation and am just confused if it is right for me to move forward.
I have three Amalgam metal fillings in my mouth and my doctors says I should not have them removed before I start chelation but I don't know what to think about that.
I had my first chelation challenge yesterday with DMPS and have not noticed too bad of effects, I am tired and heavier brain fog today.
I am just scared about the whole thing, I have read some pretty nasty horror stories and I personally feel I should have my fillings removed before hand.
I am open to any input or options, what do you guys think?

My biological dentist would not let me use DMPS until my amalgams were removed.
Is it possible it can leach mercury from fillings? -- there is conflicting info on this but I felt better knowing my amalgams were out.
I also had an allergy to mercury so stirring up stored mercury wasn't easy on me.
People who have allergies to sulpha drugs should be aware that DMPS is a sulphonate.
If I was doing this now, I would order the AI allergy drops people are talking about on this site to remove DNA allergens before the treatment.
Cilantro tincture moves mercury from tissues also and then you need to take a binder like charcoal or chlorella.
Whatever you decide, I hope this goes well for you. I tend to go with my intuition if I'm feeling uneasy about something.

I haven't gotten to trying the NDF Plus, yet. I don't know how good this company's products are for detox. I'm currently using the Liver Life & it seems good but I'm using other products, as well.

I'm not a fan of DMPS. Do your research and read about it. Make sure who every chelates out your mercury knows what he/she is doing.
Have you been tested for other metals? Most people usually don't only have one elevated metal.
Look into IV Calcium EDTA and sodium EDTA and read about the different protocols: Andy Cutler, Dr. Huggins etc.
See a biological dentist for another opinion.
Nutrients which help chelate out heavy metals while doing chelation therapy are NAC & ALA (essential), Vitimen C, cilantro Chlorella and garlic.

Where is everyone getting their DMPS from? Anyway it's not a good idea to use EDTA when you have high mercury levels. It knocks mercury lose from binding sites but does not carry it out of the body very well at all. It can cause severe brain damage in mercury toxic people due to the redistribution of metals.
