Hello ladies and gentlemen.

So I have been doing the 500 mg of zithro once a day for 2 weeks now. I switched from doxy.
So, I dont know if this is because the abx may not be fully working yet but let me tell you.

My symtpoms are worse then they have been. My stiff neck pain, chest pain, heart paps, numbness in limbs, shakes, headacjes, and stabbing pain won both sides of neck are all back with a vengence. I didnt go through this much pain onthe doxy. My symptoms werent as bad.

I just sent my doc an email asking if he thought combining the two would be a good mix or just increasing zithro to 1000 mg daily.

Any hints, tips, suggestions, comment, or concerns would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for listening to me wine.....

Hope you all are doing well!!

FWIW, your dose is over 200 (yes, two hundred) times the dose I started on. I herxed plenty at my small dose. If your herx level is intolerable, you may need to start at a smaller dose and ramp up.

Omnicef with zith brought me back to the land of the living. Great abx.

Zith gave me tinnitus that hasn't gone away, even months after going off the medication. Be aware that it can be toxic to the ear. Let your LLMD know if you get any ringing, buzzing, whooshing in the ear, ear pain, etc.
