I do not have insurance, and I inquired about having a CD57 checked, and it is almost $600 with our local lab, which is a subsidiary of Quest. Is this an average price? I really want to have it done, but $600 for one test just isn't in my budget.

I think Labcorp is the only one who does it properly. You may be wasting money & blood with any other lab.

Just had mine re-tested about 1 mo. ago via LabCorp and the charge was $ 157-

does it require a prescription to have the Cd-57 test?

my doc does not know anything about this test- he is not an LLMD,

but he is the only one I am stuck with for the time being until I can arrange an LLMD...

And it will not be before a few months...

So can I just go and ask for the test,

would my insurance cover without a prescription?
