I recently started Wobenzyme for inflammation. I am supposed to be taking 12 per day.

Last night I had worked up to only 3 and was "hit hard" with horrific pain.

I could hardly open my right eye and the throbbing pain all over was the worst it has been along with nausea, chest and throat pressure, migraine.

I have bad babesia herxes but this is the worst.I could hardly stand to be touched.

Has anyone had this experience with Wobenzyme or is this a babesia herx?

Am trying to decide whether to stop wobenzym or cut back on Mepron and Zithromax.

Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Doesn't Wobenzym release biofilms and, along with that, releases heavy metals?

Have you or your Doctor or Pharmacist checked for contraindications with your current prescriptions and all blood thinners? It is possible that the Wobenzyme is potentiating or otherwise causing your other meds to behave differently.

Blood thinners can also increase blood flow to infected areas, allowing meds and immune response to reach infection better.

So that might be another possibility, or the two could be happening at once (they aren't mutually exclusive).

I reacted to Wobenzym very strongly as well. It made me feel (even just on three tablets) like my brain was on speed (edgy) and my body was exhausted....it did help me feel, however, "less swollen"....

Hang in there...

IMO, in general anyone who gets an intolerable reaction to large doses of meds might do better on smaller doses

Hearing your experiences helps more than you know.
I stopped the wobenzym. Whoaaa! What an experience. I do feel better than I did.

Thank you for your responses. Does anyone know about the biofilms issue?

You can have a exacerbation of symptoms when you take something that disolves fibrin like wobenzyme.

Infection can hide in fibrin. Enzymes break up fibrin and can release infection so that your body can deal with it.

You want to break up excess fibrin and move it out of your system. I would slowly work my way up to the desired dose.

Search google for fibrin and enzymes to learn more.

I definitely get herxes from taking enzymes. The enzymes help in the long run, but it's very hard at first. Hang in there! It can be tough.

I get horrible vibrating from wobenzym. Cannot take any enzymes. I will start again, but the extremely low dosage and probably start with only once a week.

wobenzyme breaks down the biofilm of some bugs ..so they are exsposed and the antibiotics works more beneficialy by killing more and also they erduce the fibrin and reduces the pain ..YOU ARE HERXING

WOBENZYME in that level can kill other things as well...hang in there...yes when you introduce this things in the begining is tough

It will come a time that you will be able to handle even more with no problem once the load is lower...

KARENL

I get vibrations when I kill a LOT of the bugs , twitching , itchy etc...they have lowered a lot since is less of them around the nervous system

They used to be from head to toe..and since mostly are hanging from the hips and down the vibrations are going towards the knee and calfs now...

taking enzymes first thing in the morning ...you will be able to exspose this bugs even more....and so it will help you to reduce the time to take antibiotics and be more efective

IMAGINE2

I have herxed for at least 2 years straight non stop

I decided to hang in there rather than be on anitbiotics for very long ...I made sure as well to detox

you can do saunas and you wil lfeel great releif while treating babs

in my treatment of babs lately ..as I was hiting babs hard...I had not only through by my entire skull face , neck my shoulder very deep pain

are the pocket of toxins released from killing

make sure ( If you can ) to do a sauna and massage that part of muscle to push them out
It works..I have been for a month like this ..and now after one month I can feel that I have reduced that babs tremendously ...babs herxes are more chest and shoulders and neck

barts are more neuro ...and feet .So hang in there

Wow! I'm with you. I tried two tablets of Wobenzym a couple of days ago. I had a major herx later that day which ran for a full 24 hours.

I am assuming the herx is related to the Wobenzym, for nothing else in my protocol was different.

So it is best to start slow, then?
