My LLMD has prescribed for Bromelain (pineapple stem) for biofilms. If I recall it was 1,000 mg or more per day.

Some here I believe take even more. She recommended Pure Encapsulations brand.

I took that a few months before I went into remission.

good luck with it. [Smile]

I also read about using lumbrokinase (from earthworms!) to break up biofilms, but now can't remember where - might be from Allergy Research Group. Don't know dosage.

I'm using Dr. K.'s clay with psyllium for 6 weeks to "scrub out and absorb" the biofilms, before I start Humaworm at the end of June.

Although Dr. K. is not my LLMD, I do consider the various ideas of detoxing. Insterestingly, this was the first item on his list for treating Lyme (with a simple colonic 1 or 2 times per week). After 3 weeks, I do feel better, less bloated and a bit less toxic.

After five years on abx full time, another 2 years on and off abx (right now off for 6 months), it's time to find out what's still in thar. Will let you know.
