I started Flagyl 750mg ER last week. Since then I have had more pain in my ankles and up my shin bones than before. Its really only on the left leg.

Could this be part of a Lyme herx or might it be hitting a form of bartonella that I was unaware of. I know my LLD has said that bone pain can come from Lyme die off and we have never really addressed bart yet. I tested negative by Igenex for it, but there's always a poosibility.

Anyone experienced this with Flagyl? Does it hit bart in combo with doxy or amoxi, both of with I'm taking now.

I have never tested positive for Bartonella, nor had symptoms indicative of bart infection. However, I had a significant increase in my joint pain when I started flagyl (and I started on a half dose), so your pain is certainly consistent with my experience, for what it's worth. To my knowledge, I only have lyme, no coinfections.
