Has anyone went out country being some treatment for us can be 5,000. Out of country in other areas can be 500.
You still go,get the trip, if able to travel, get treatment places that know much more about Lyme. U.S. is 57th in health care. Shameful almost embarrassed to say part of it at 1 time?? So their including Mexico offering treatment for much less. You, can get an American Dr. Especially in Costa Rico.
I thought about getting my teeth worked on,even maybe nip tuck???? There. SO much cheaper pays for trip plus get teeth taken care of. Being many lymies have severe expensive care for teeth. I have put off, cost me 3,000grand for front teeth. Other areas 500 for total amount of toothcare. I have not even begun yet know need lot work. Front teeth most important for me so I went to cheapest place around for front teeth.
Just wondering??? Hugggss, to ALL In Need??Kerry

It seems worth serious consideration if money is an issue for IV treatment.
For example, if the costs of months of daily rocephin IV (plus medical supervision and nursing assistance) is one-fourth the price in India, Argentina or other countries -- even including living expenses -- why not consider it? I have not researched it, so that figure is speculation, but probably not far off base.
Medical tourism is on the increase for things like heart surgery, and hospitals overseas operate at top standards.
